Walking, not quite
« on: March 17, 2007, 02:38:45 PM »

yesterday Asha took one step, today she took two.  what does tomorrow hold.  she is so ready but she likes to do things well first up, no accidents or stumbles for her so she takes her time.  Charlie was the queen of accidents so its quite interesting to watch her figure out what to do.  How mobile are the other babies

shane still holds on to everything but is very confident in his movements. he is practicing letting go of things o move around quite a bit. no steps yt, but like asha he doesnt want to fall down. once he starts walking i think it will b after he is really really ready and probebly wont have that many accidents. he squats down to pick things up next to him which i think is sooo cute. i think in another week or two hell be walking

Violet is currently spending all day cruising around on anything she can pull up on. She can go one handed and squat down to pick things up too. She does a lot of letting go and then when she starts to wobble grabs whatever she is standing next to.  This is way earlier than my other girls her main motivation seems to be keeping up with them.

mohamed started crawling a little later than some other LOs here- probably about 3 weeks ago. Since then, he's gotten pretty speedy. As far as standing, he pulls up on anything and everything. We have a U-shaped sofa and he walks around it and aroun his play yard (yes, we caved and got one....) He will occasionally take his hands off, but i think he is still scared of falling and quickly puts his hands back on...
