yesterday Asha was refusing sleep and playing in the lounge room so i said to her "do you want to have a sleep" and no kidding she said "nooo" and shook her head at the same time.  it was very purposeful and she smiled afterwards. dh and i couldn't believe it.

Violet says Dada.  No mama in sight though. He just glows when she babbles it at him.  she is a big head shaker too. Whenever I say are you sleepy I get the big NOOOO head shake.

OK I am less resenting of the dada now I get mmmuuummm now.  Maybe I am flattering myself to think she means mom, She generally pats my breasts while she is saying it. Maybe she means YUM.

mohamed only says baba (daddy in moroccan) and mama. I can see that he wants to say other things, but he just doesn't have the skills/will yet.
