milk = Mommy?
« on: January 30, 2007, 10:43:03 AM »

We just realized yesterday that Elisabeth has been using the sign for milk interchangably for mommy.  We do sign mommy often when we say it but I guess she doesn't see any need to use it?  I cam home form 4 hrs at work Sunday and she squealed and thrust her fist toward me and started signing milk.  I offered booby but she wasn't hungry at all.  That's when it clicked and we realized she's been doing that for a while.  She signing doggy/Huck, too.  But don't tell Daddy, that's just our secret, OK?  She's not signing for him yet  Wink

To be honest, I guess Brinn's "milk" is mommy too, since mom is milk LOL. Brinn looks at me like I'm kooky when I do dog!
