I'm just curious where everyone is at. We're trying to get on an earlier, more reasonable schedule. It's been tough.
Anyway, what's your schedule...

Our times are pretty similar to Megs' butt she gets up a little earlier and has never taken a three hour nap. lol. She actually falls asleep pretty fast, but we sometimes have trouble keeping her asleep. Last night she slept from 7-8 and then had to go potty, Then she slept 'till 9 and woke up and didn't go back to sleep until 2. She slept for two hours and was up at four. She hasn't taked a nap yet and it is four in the afternoon. I am grumpy as hell and she is running around with a ton of energy and won't shut up. I am looking for her stach of speed, but havn't found it yet. (Just kidding) Hopefully she falls asleep soon!

Wake up: Usually about 6:30, as early as 6 and rarely later than 7 Nap asleep: 12:30 ish (at home, its a lot more random at her sitter's) Nap wake: 1.5 to 2 hours unless she got up really early and then it might be a little longer Night asleep time: in her room for stories between 7:30 and 7:45, in bed 15-20 minutes after we go in her room and she is generally asleep about 20 minutes after that so asleep time is between 8:15 and 8:30. Except for tonight sicne she's been singing to herself for 45 minutes!

Neither of my boys naps regularly anymore, so here's ours:
Wake up: Nigel usually 6:30-7:00, Calvin 7-7:30 Nigel usually ONLY naps if we have a significant car ride while doing after-school errands, so it's usually no more than 20 minutes and is over by 2-2:30 depending on how much we're out Night asleep time: Nigel goes to his room with dh around 6:00, they read a book or two and talk about our plans for the next day, then they cuddle and he's usually asleep by 6:30. Calvin and I read books and cuddle, then he draws or reads until he's tired enough to go to sleep. Since we're still getting used to this routine I can't say what his ultimate sleepy time will be, but lately it's been around 8pm.
So Nigel is sleeping for 12ish hours, and Calvin is more like 11. But Nigel is a really easy, content sleeper most of the time (barring illness or whims of god) and this is much different from what Calvin was doing at this same age. At 2yrs old he was waking up at maybe 7:30, taking a nap from about 1-3, and then not going to sleep for the night until about 10pm. It wasn't until he dropped his nap that he extended his nighttime sleeping hours by going to bed at 8ish. Then we went through a patch when he was 3 where he was asleep by 6:30-7 every night, and now we're back to 8ish. I guess there's no knowing, eh?

I forgot to post that on the rare occasion that Jocelyn doesn't get a nap then she will sleep 12 hours that night - usually try to have her in bed by 7. One day last week she didn't get a nap and she fell asleep coming gome from MIL's house at 5:50. She was up for a little while at 4 but went back to sleep unitl 7:30!

interesting stuff! I'll answer my own question now. Emily seems to need to sleep 10-11hrs at night and 1.5-2hrs naps.
Our most recent routine has been:
Morning Wake Up Time: 8:30am Nap Asleep Time: 2:30pm Nap Wake Up Time: 4:30pm Night Asleep Time: 10:30pm (begin bedtime routine at 9:30pm)
We actually used to be on a later timetable, but I've been slowing moving it to an earlier schedule (tough thing to do). I still have more work to do, though. Here's my preferred schedule, if I can ever get us on it, but it will take us some time to get there, lol:
Morning Wake Up Time: 7:00am Nap Asleep Time: 1:00pm Nap Wake Up Time: 3:00pm Night Asleep Time: 9:00pm (begin bedtime routine at 8pm)
Somtimes Jessie takes a nap, sometimes she doesn't. Actually, she had stopped taking naps for a well but has started up again. If she does nap, it's usually only like 1hr. If she doesn't take a nap, then she'll sleep 11hrs at night rather than 10hrs.

Morning Wake Up Time: Nurse and awake and back to sleep and repeat from 5 a.m. until 7a.m. Hardly sound sleep for mommy or Aidan.
Nap Asleep Time: Noonish or so...depends on when Daddy gets home. One at the latest. Usually he's alseep in seconds. I love it!
Nap Wake Up Time: 2 p.m. or so...3 p.m. AT THE VERY LASTEST!!! We cosleep for naps...love this time!
Night Asleep Time: 8:30ish. I have recently laided the smack down. Aidan is a nipple twiddler. He'll twiddle with my nipples for comfort for hours, I can only take so much. If Paul or I can't get him to sleep in 20=30 minutes time, into the bed he goes, lights out, night night. This may sound harsh but Paul's in bed with him and he's never fussed more than a few minutes. If he did, I'd go and get him. Usually, he just lays down and goes to sleep! If have 3 tiny kid goats in the house to bottle feed right now amongst many other things before I go to bed and heck, it's just nice to know that Aidan can fall asleep on his own now!

I don't think it sounds harsh Annie, Its not that he doesn't understand, sounds like he has a little fuss because he's mad.

Shannon,
To the best of my senile recollection, yeah, they did...LOL. However, Aidan is much more persistant in that the others would nurse and conk out quickly. Aidan has the aforementioned nipple twiddling fetish that none of my other kids had, so he'll nurse then twiddle. It's annoying as hell and I am trying to break him of the habit but he's not liking it much. Paul gets up to leave for work a little before 5 a.m. most mornings so that's usually when the fun begins.
As an aside, he's slowing giving up his binky though!

thought I'd update a little that since k went down that one time at 8, I'm taking the opportunity to enforce a sleep routine starting at 7. so, hopefully our schedual will look more like wake at 5:30, nap at noonish, bath at 7 bed at 8:15. Here's hoping.
Annie, I see your blinky.

No..no bun!
Old blinky from a former, lost bun. I must remove it.
I am done trying to make another bun! Too emotionally taxing. I am enjoying my newborn baby goats. LOL.
