1 resolution done! I wanted to check out the wholefoods closest to us, which is an hour and a half away. I needed some things and I bought myself a bunch of greenbags- no more paper bags at the grocery store!! I have been meaning to do it forever and finally did it! http://www.greenbag.info/
I have been using mine since the beginning of this year. The funny thing is I get the of you are strange look from the baggers when I give them the bags. The first time the lady said paper or plastic and when I said I brought my own bags and set them up on the bagging area she shrugged and walked away without bagging them which I thought wa just a little rude. Maybe she was just confused by the whole interaction??? Anyway My MIL and mom really liked them too and wanted to ask where I got them. I think that may be their mothers day present this year.
Green bags have been implemented here(by the actual supermarkets. wow) for about 4 yrs i think. You now get strange looks if you use plastic bags, which i think is cool. our attendants definitely pack them for us.
This just reminded me (hope I'm not spreading empty rumours) but Hooray for IKEA!! I heard Wed on the business news as I was walking through the breakroom for Elisabeth's milk that IKEA is going to start charging customer for bags. Absolute coolness. They aren't close to me but I may have to make that drive to support them. I doubt it will catch on (in the US) but... baby steps.

From there to here, from here to there, Funny things are everywhere!
Hadn't heard that, but I know that my sister bought bags at IKEA that are like greenbags. Also, Kroger here sells canvas bags you can buy for reusable bags. However, it would cost me about $50 in their bags to haul away all my groceries.
