I am very close to my original goal of breastfeeding for one year, except instead of breastfeeding I am exclusively pumping. I am finding it easy and (almost) enjoyable, so I am thinking of extending my goal to 18 months. What do you guys think? Have you ever heard of anyone pumping exclusively for an extended period of time? And at what point should I put the milk into a sippy cup or a glass? (Can you tell I'm a FTM?)
Also, I'm proud to report that I just ordered some cloth diapers on Friday, they should be here soon! I'm so excited!

I am surprised that your supply has held up this long only pumping- i was originally bfing and then when i came back to work i started pumping and I just don't have the same amount that i used to. I'm really glad that it has worked out for you. My original goal was one year also, and as yesterday was 7 months, I am definately hoping that we will go longer than a year. I think that as long as LO is healthy and growing, why not! Go for it...

I am just sooo excited about my cloth diapers. I got 1 bumGenius! 2.0, 1 Fuzzibuns, 1 Swaddlebees to start with. I haven't even used them yet but I can already tell I love them. On order I have 5 more diapers, four from the diaper swap yesterday, one from eBay. I think three of them are bumkins, and I can't remember what the other two are, but they're awesome. I can't wait to have enough to go exclusive.
And speaking of exclusive, I think I am Oing right now because my supply has doubled the past couple of days. Well, not doubled, but gone up. Instead of producing 6 oz. average, I now get at least 8 everytime. I think I am not having a supply issue because my body thinks my pump IS the baby. I seriously have my let down if I think about my pump too much. Isn't that sad? lol
