Asha has discovered the powerbook amongst other things and managed to turn the voice on and darken the screen, quite a complex bunch of manouvres to do that one. very funny though.
She is also starting to cruise, crazy kid, she's still off balance but she climbs up on everything at she and Charlie are really starting to play.
Solids aren't of much interest to her and i really have to catch her when she's hungry enough but not too hungry.
We're trying to get her to take a bottle so that dh and i can get away for one night on our anniversary but Asha thinks it is the worst idea in the world. guess i can't blame her. she hates the taste and the plastic.
she's started to truly babble and try to copy our mouth movements. she says babwabwa a lot.
She also gets mad when you take something away that she likes, like paper. well i usually exchange but Charlie takes.
ok thats all for now. Hows all the other bubs going?

shane loves the computer he goes nuts for the keyboard if i hold him on my lap. he absolutely loves any kind of silverware, if he sees it on teh floor he gets moving really fast. he is creeping around, not quite crawling, but very fast at it and goes long distances to check out everything. he just started crawling into my lap, then uses my legs for balance and stands up! he likes his solids but i keep forgetting to give it to him so he only gets it maybe 4 times a week.dr said to ostart finger foods and i have given him some small bread and he loves it. last week he got the two bottom teeth, we real;ly didnt have any problems with teething luckily. i got no cry sleep solution even though he is a good sleeper he might need it sometime, i love the book so far/ not babbling yet, all he does is fake cough and spit bubbles, it is funny and cute though. he is signing milk when he is hungry. i taught him to turn the light swtich off and on and he is learning wheres mommy's nose, eyes, and mouth. he discovered my dhs tattoo on his back the other day and was interested in that for half an hour. thats all right now.

Mohamed has mastered sitting and is a very good stander if he leans on the table or sofa. However, there is no crawling whatsoever- he hates to be on his stomach. As soon as he gets whatever he rolled over for, he flips back over. He just has no interest in crawling. His favorite thing to do is jump in his jumperoo- he will do it for an hour and a half at a time if he wants to! He will eat food, but not as much as I'd like him to. I would love if he did twice a day, 2 or 3 tablespoons, but he's rather touch the food or play with it. He also loves to go for walks in his stroller or in his carrier. He is much more verbal now- especially with the "m" sounds. And he does this horrible grunting sound, which is, unfortunately, the one he makes the most often. It's really unebarable after a while. He, too, gets very upset if you take something away from him- I usually have to do the exchange also to prevent a cying spell. He hates to lay down to get changed, he hates being put down etc...you know how those babies are! All in all, normal development- although i'd like to see some crawling effort...

Juney has become good at getting from sitting into a crawling position, and from a crawling position to pulling up. She rocks on her hands and knees, but hasn't made any forward progress. She likes to eat Cheerios--it takes her forever to pick them up, but Ava (being the great big sister she is) will stick them into Juney's mouth for her Her vocalizations are mostly: ah gah, da da, ah-vah (pretty sure she's saying, "Ava" ), gra gra, and ba ba. She's also into an awful screeching scream thing when she's excited.

Let's see, Elisabeth is... Signing "milk", rarely she does mama or daddy (we think) Just learned to crawl forwards and sits up by herself from a crawling position. Still no rolling tummy to back, I think she just doesn't care! Starting to balance a little in a standing position if she's holding on to something like her gym. Also gets upset when you "steal" her "great toy" like the remote control, wipes solution bottle, or my glasses. No longer sleeping well at night. She needs some extra love But we co-sleep very badly so it's a last resort. The NCSS book is on it's way! Blowing raspberries, sticking out her tongue, and trying to suck her upper lip (maybe her entire head??) into her mouth. Harrassing our sainted doggie. Yes, she also loves the keyboard and has found features og the control key I didn't know of and struggle to undo. Reminds me, Megs, of when a 4 y/o somehow accidentally downloaded a game to my cellphone. I can't imagine the odds of hitting just the right combo of keys but she did it! It wasn't even a good game, ans she still owes me the $9.00.

our emergency number in oz is 000 so its so much easier to do that one by accident.
yeah Asha is a poor sleeper too right now, sucks. we've got 2 kids who come into bed at about the same time each night, so we're really buggered here.
oh and asha got her first tooth this morning, thankfully no biting yet.
