Anyone have a new years resolution? I usually make several. I think of it as self improvement goals. My #1 this year is to stop getting bags for purchases. I bought 12 greenbag totes to use while grocery shopping. ande smaller purchases will all go into my purse which is big. I also am going to drive less. I have a nice bike w/ baby seat and need to use it more. my girls have bikes too and love to go riding.

Great idea on the shopping bags! I like that one. I also decided to get serious about recycling, I literally recycle everything, my garage has bins down the entire left side wall for everything possible. I started becoming obsessed in Aug so I plan keep it up However- with the intention of keeping the garage organized at the same time. THAT in itself is a huge task.
The last 2 resolutions are the same- lose some more weight, get in better shape...

Instead of the usual lose weight resolution, I'm going to just push myself to do 10 minutes of a sustained activity every day- i think it's a much more reasonable goal for myself, so day 1 was fine- we'll see about day 2... I also decided to cook more healthy meals at home- not that we're not healthy now, but we allow ourselves certain things a little too often, so we're going to cut down on that.... And, as of today, we are in cloth diapers- this should be interesting! I'll keep you updated on how that progresses...

I resloved years ago to stop making resolutions...
Actually, lately, I've been wanting to become more spiritual again, for Elisabeth, and taking baby steps towards that. Especially with her not sleeping so well, I've been trying to "reiki her down", sing prayers/mantras, and have some instructions for an herbal pillow- all stuff in my garden, although a bit frost-bitten.
Mari, good luck with the dipes, whatever you're using. We use a bit of all kinds so if you need some in-preson support or to see something different, let me know!
