where to buy organic?

hi all

well at present DP and i are in america and although we have always eaten very healthily it has only been this last yr or so since we have been here and seen the vast difference in food here compared to Aus that we have really strted to make some changes.

so maddox definately only eats organic and jay and i eat as much organic as we can, this includes all dairy and vegetables as well as flours (ive had a real wake up call over here concerning wheat products).

our main concern here is how do we actually know it is organic the label may say so but are we sure?  we have bought things with no added sugar marked clearly on the labe only to read on the back of the packet that there certainly are sugars added. so we somtimes think is the same thing happening with these organic products (although in most cases you can taste a deffinate difference). im not talking so much here about fruit and veg rather milk ect.

anyway we will be returning to aus in feb and im wondering where is good places to buy organic... fruit and veg ect... i dont mind a drive (there is me counteracting any good ill do by eating organic by driving my car (all be it small and fairly enviromentally friendly) to said places).

I don't mind giving my own site a plug, but this really is a great site. You should be able to find out pretty much all the information you need to know and find suppliers of organic food also.

thanks for that the site certainly is infromative and im pleased to see some new stores in my area of redcliffe that are getting up and running.

will definately be checking into it when i get home in feburary.
