My first wasn't much of a toy kid, she was high needs for a long while in fact Asha sleeps much better than her.
anyway Asha loves everything to play with, she sees something and she wants it. She'll play be herself forever. this is just something i didn't experience with c.
What are all your babies like with playing and toys?

Juney is definately more of a "toy baby" than Ava ever was. Luckily, right now anything will suffice as entertainment. An empty juice bottle, my cellphone, any rattle, any book. The current favorite "toy" is the Cheerio's box. I think because it's such a bright yellow and makes a great shaky sound.

Well, other than the swing, the bumbo, the boppy, the jumperoo, the bouncy seat and the highchair (woah that looks like a lot on paper...) Mohamed has 2 sets of link-a-doos that he loves, one star toy that sings and lights up, a stuffed frog (that used to hang off his infant carrier), and some teething rings. I absolutely hate being overrun by baby stuff, so i've been giving him anything around the house to play with- a pillow, a big wooden spoon, carrots, empty cups etc....

shane plays with anything and everything. he is trying to crawl out of my lap to get whatever he sees. i give him his baby spoos a lot or an empty sippy cup, an empty pop bottle, plastic cups, plastic cookie cutters. he is a good player. i have a swing and a doorway jumper thing but he would rather be on the floor with stuff. my mil gave him an excersaucer but i dont really like it, he just sits there and watches me so i dont use it much.

My daughter likes stuff that make noise in her hands. She really likes stuffed animals or books that have the crinkly stuff in them. She will just make them crinkle all day. She also has a rattle that makes noises that she will play with. She also has an electronic keys thing. She doesn't understand how to press the button and make the noise but she gets excited when she does it on accident.

Brinn loves rattles and things that crinkle- as well as the tv remote and paper!

Trevor likes crinkly things and loves the Taggies toys. I'm a big fan of Discovery Toys - not sure if you have them in AU. Trevor also likes the Fisher Price Peek A Blocks.
