we had a scare last night

last night shane was having trouble sleeping. he sleeps in his crib in our room until i go to bed and then i bring him into our bed. but iwas on the computer and it was reallylate. i just kept hearing him wake up and it seemed like he had a stomach ache and couldnt sleep so i got him up and he was sitting with me at the computer. he puked all over me a couple times. then he bruped, started coughing, then he couldnt breathe. he turned all red and his eyes were watering. he was arching his back and kkcicking his feet and shaking his arms around trying to breathe. he wasnt able to make a noise or get any air down. i quickly flipped him down and started patting his back and all of the sudden he started making gagging and gasping noises and all this junk came out of his nose and then he could breathe again. i was so scared!! i feel so lucky and happy that i got him out of bed and had him with me!! i dont even wanna know what wouldve happened if he was in the other room.

on a much lighter note" he likes playing with my cell phone and he called 911 this morning!! i heard a voice saying emergency hello and looked at the phone it said 911 connected!! i hung up and turned the phone off really quick cuz i was scared they would yell at me hit self over head

wow that is scary, so glad to hear that Shane is alright. did he have a cold or was it out of the blue?

completely out of the blue... the only thing we can think of is if he spit up and swallowed and it went down the wrong way. im not sure. poor little guy, i was so scared to put him to bed in his crib tonight but he is okay and i am listening closley for him

Elis used to do that when she went through a silent reflux stage. I know that heart flip-flop. Now she just spits all over everything and is happy as a clam so I coudn't care less.
OK, so sometimes the pukey puddle on my pants annoys me. Undecided

oh how scary! My 2nd had severe GERD and stopped breathing all of the time. I barely slept for the first 6 mo's of her life.
