Have your babies found their hands yet.  One of the reasons we put Asha in the walker was because we knew it would help her to find her hands.  here she is in action in the walker.

Not really.  Anja has started to bat at things, but can't grab anything (except my hair!) yet.  Or if she does, it's only because it accidentally happens, kwim?

She also doesn't have good enough head/neck control to sit up like Asha yet.  I feel like DD#1 had great neck control after only a few weeks, so it's al little weird to me!  I'm hoping that happens soon, because I think she'll enjoy being in the Moby wrap more when she can face outward (she loves SLEEPING in it now, but isn't crazy about being in it awake).

What's Asha's birthdate again?  Anja is June 27th, so I'm wondering if she's just "behind" a lot of June babies because she was born at the end of the month?

Asha was born on June 23rd.  She seems a little ahead on the physical skills to me, so its not likely that Anja is behind.

Since I first read this I started putting Elisabeth in the exersaucer.  She's still more interested in the new things her feet can do there but picking up on her hands again, too.  She used to really enjoy aiming and batting until she discovered kicking and forgot her hands!  Her daddy spent a lot of play time ith her yesterday and was really encouraging hand play.  When this was first posted, I thouight it was funny that Elis is between your babies' birthdates (24th) and betweentheir skills.

While my son Mohamed has found his hands and is a big explorer with them, he hasn't accomplished some of the other things that some 5month olds have- he isn't a good sitter, and falls over almost immediately. He has pretty good head control, maybe he's just lazy! We don't have a walker cause the house has carpet everywhere, but he has a jumperoo and he loves it. I love to look at his little feet in it!

Luke has found his hands, and loves the exersaucer.  It seems like he is a little ahead from the norm.  My first was always way behind what charts said she should be at (except finding her privates, she found those EARLY!  Roll Eyes ).  It's amazing how different two babies can be!  Luke weighs 17lbs now, and my daughter didn't weigh that until she was almost a year old!
