Hello!
I am a mama to 3 kids in Melbourne.
I had them all naturally ie. without drugs. I want to have the next in water.
I am vegetarian.
I believe in bfing as long as is possible
I am an advocate for co-sleeping
I have just started using cloth in the past month. And I am interested in elimination communication now.
I want to do things naturally as possible.
I don't trust doctors generally - I trust my instincts more so.
I don't vax as my son has health problems which I believe were triggered by 12mth needles.

I need support for my choices as people who don't understand them seem to think they are better than I.
I rather respect the parenting choices of others.
I think I fought my own instincts in the past as I tried to do things the so -called right way
Now I believe parents have to do the best for their family, whatever they believe that to be
Personal choice suited to families differ and do vary.

Oh yeah and i am a chatterbox.... Grin

Hi, I introduced myself on some of the categories, but for some reason missed this one.  I am Lori, live in Michigan with my husband and 2 year old son.  We practice elimination communication, gentle / natural parenting, part time co-sleep, do not believe in CIO, eat mostly organic, and are trying to transition to all natural cleaners.  I am interested in learning more about natural remedies, foods, cleaners and chatting with like minded parents.

Hello everyone,

I'm Kristen (29) and have been posting in the June 2006 section.  I have two daughters, Ava Milan who was born in February 2004 and Willa June ("Juney") who was born in June of 2006.  My husband, Jarrod, is in the Coast Guard (I feel it necessary to point out we're NOT fans of the current administration!!!!!) and we're currently living in Alaska.  We moved here from Boston and I am definately missing city life.  I am currently a SAHM, and I used to be a Developmental Educator.  We co-sleep with our youngest, EBF, do not believe in CIO, eat mainly organic, avoid most vaccines, and generally practice AP.  We use cloth diapers and I'm trying to work up the nerve to do EC.  For some reason I'm scared to take the plunge and we're planning a vacation next week so I'll probably start in earnest in two weeks.

Hi everyone,
I'm Liz and I am mum to one darling girl Olivia Skye who is 9 months old. I have been reading this forum for a while and have found it very informative and supportive of our parenting choices (which is not always easy to find). We live in the Gold Coast and love walking with our dog Simba on the beach  female sling Olivia still has one sleep a day in the hug a bub, but she is nearly walking now and requires less carrying than she used to! We dont sleep very well in the same bed, Olivia has recently moved into her own bedroom, our sleeping noises were waking her up during the night - my hubby talks... I am into all things natural; cloth nappies; aware parenting; dont believe in CIO; I am a member of the ABA, I plan to breastfeed till Olivia is ready to stop, even if it means tandem feeding! We dont vax, we see a network chiropractor and eat lots of raw, enzyme packed immune boosting, organic produce - lots home grown. I have enormous faith in the innate healing power of the human body and I don't trust Doctors either!
I look forward to discussing things with you all and Im glad I found this forum - its nice to see so many other mums questioning the 'norm.' Grin
