We haven't really been potty training Camilla Marie, but we let her run around without a diaper for a while on most days. We have had a potty for a while, and she has been going pee-pee on it at diaper changing times, especially in the mornings and evenings. When she is naked, I ask her to let me know if she has to go pee-pee or ca-ca, and I ask her if she needs to go every 20 mins or so. On Friday afternoon, she was naked and twice when I asked her if she needed to go, she said yes, and peed on the toilet when I took her (not the potty b/c we were down stairs). Then, last night before getting into her pj, she was running around naked. I asked her if she needed to go, she said no. Then all of a sudden she called out for me and said ca-ca, so we went to the potty, she sat down, but nothing happened. I let her run around some more, and she called out and said ca-ca again. This time she made a big one on the potty!!! I was so proud of her !!!!!! and she was so proud, too.

(Afterwards, she had a small accident - a little poo on the floor. She freaked out, but I told her it's ok, and no big deal. It's funny, she freaks out whenever she has a poo accident on the floor. Anybody else?)
I am not sure she is ready for all out potty training, but we will let her go without a diaper when we are home and pay close attention . . . we also got some pull-ups for her, which should make it easier to get to the potty in time.
