Where do your kids sleep at night?
« on: July 30, 2006, 11:19:43 AM »

Hi all.  This relates to my next question/poll.

Charlie and Asha both sleep in our bed which is a queen bed and a single bed joined together on the floor.

Jocelyn sleeps in her crib in her room.  We rarely cosleep, but have on occassion.  She just likes her space too much and always has ~ little miss independent here. wild

I answered a mixture of the above. It's really a mixture of the first two listed...in your bed and in a cot/bed in your room. This is because:
1. Emily is always in our King bed, between DH and I
2. Jessie sleeps half the night in her twin bed that sits between the wall and our bed (it's at the same height); but, she almost always rolls over to the King bed and sleeps against my back in the middle of the night.

It's not particularly comfortable when all 4 of us are in the King bed, but we manage.

After Emily is night-weaned and sleeping thru the night, I'll attempt to move them to a room together w/ twin bed laying on the floor next to each other. But, we're not there yet. Maybe when they're closer to turning 2 and 4...which is late Fall.
