Sometimes Kody steals Charlie's "toothie pegs" (teething biscuits for those who don't speak Ozzie) which have milk in them and I really can't be bothered to take them away from him. I guess that means he's not vegan, right? So, the question of the month is this:
How anal are you about accidents, freeganism, etc, and are you more strict with yourself of with your kids?
BTW, I'd like to hear more responses to the TOM: May. maybe I can get Tristan to post an article he wrote for the Eco News which seemed pretty pertainant. I'll ask him.
I am stricter with Charlie for sure about her food intake. no meat, no way. But if my pizza store accidently let a bit of ham on my pizza, i will eat it. Why? because i don't like food wasted, because i do miss the taste sometimes, because i'm not making a statement about not eating it when its just going to go in the bin anyway.
With Charlie I try to keep her majority vegan though she will sometimes have a bit of my toast that has butter on it for example.
if i buy something that i find out after opening it contains some animal product, i may still eat it as i don't want to waste food. mind you its still wasted once it hits the stomach anyway. IYKWIM.
