Vegan/non-dairy cheese?

Since we are dealing with this dairy allergy with Jocelyn I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a good dairy-free/vegan cheese.  She LOVES cheese and I would love to find a replacement for her and the stuff I bought this weekend was NOT it  raspberry !  Any suggestions?

maybe try cubes of tofu?  I haven't found ang vegan (non-dairy) cheeses that really deserve the name cheese.
k loves tofu straight from the tub, he goes nuts when he sees the packaage.

something to consider too is that it may be a lactose allergy.  in which case you can try lactose free options..  Mind you i still think tofu is a healthier option anyway.

yeah most are pretty bad... the veggie shreds are pasable but also tofuti cream cheese is ok.
