ok i had to do this considering the success of the other thread.  but i just remembered i have to hang washing.  will be back.

1.  You can get away with pretty much wearing any fashion.  hehe

2.  there are so many great musical and cultural festivals to go to, and you totally fit in.
3.  Its great for the environment.
4.  You come in contact with a great variety of people. 
5.  Politics is not a no go subject (whether this is a + or a - is up to you)

OK, I'm not really a hippie...but have some hippie friends and was a hippie wanna-be in college

28. Deodarant is optional

29.If you haven't had a bath in a few days, you can just throw on some patchouli and braid your hair and you're ready to go (ok, maybe this is just a depiction of some of my college friends....)

30. Buying used clothes from the 60's saves you money and you look cool

31. Being poor isn't SO bad...b/c you don't expect to have or need all the material things others do

32. Can find like-minded people pretty easily IRL or on the internet, based on your self-identified label of "hippie"

33. Can walk barefoot around campus, town, or in a park and nobody thinks you're crazy...you're just "one of them"

34. Ironing your clothes is completely unnecessary and even takes away from your style

35. Packing a bag of extra clothes just requires rolling instead of folding b/c of above point

36. Can discover new clothes and household items in lots of locally-owned, unique shops instead of corporate-owned, national chains.

37. "Eclectic" is a positive way to describe your home decorating style.

38. Getting ready to go out takes less time...natural is really quicker

39. No trips to the salon for bikini waxes and no razor burn (ouch!)

40. Natural labor and birth
