How did everyone do with the time change?
« on: April 04, 2006, 10:11:11 AM »

Just curious!  Jocelyn went to bed at 8:45 last night but about 8:05 tonight.  I figure that by the end of the week she'll be back to her 'normal' bedtime (about 7:20-7:30).  I actually wouldn't mind if it was a little later if she slept a little later in the morning.  It would be nice to sleep until 7 on a Sat!  sleep

It's not going to affect us much.  I've decided to just shift everything by a clock hour so k doesn't notice the difference except in two (I think positive) ways:  We don't watch "the Price is Right" while we eat lunch anymore because what was 11 is now 12, and he doesn't see my mom before she goes to work inthe morning, so we avoid the teary mamamamamamama when she leaves.

of course, he's all off kilter today anyway because he go his shots this morning,  stir devil oh well.

The kids woke up/went to bed as if it was around their normal time. I'm ok w/ that for now b/c it's been tough (no power).

I decided not to shift Ben's bedtime this time because of his 5am wakeups lately. I decided to start putting him to bed at 7pm (same at old 6pm bedtime) with the hope he'd sleep until 6am (same as old 5am wakeup). It worked this morning, and it was nice to get a little extra sleep in the morning!

We didn't really change anything either. Delaney has her own clock and I have learned that it doesn't work to fight it. hit self over head

Even though we are not over there we always go by natures clock anyway so it really wouldn't affect us.

I thought i was the only one.  c does this when her grandmama leaves.  it can last 10 minutes.  she doesn't do it when i leave though which always made me jealous.
