71. Less brown foods on your dinner plate. colour, colour, colour.
fact relating to previous reason by Adrienne: you need over 10 pounds of grain to produce one pound of beef!
72. not sure if this has been done: vegetarians outlive other people of many years and, even more important, are much healthier. Heart attacks are very unlikely in vegetarians and cancer rate is 60% less respect to other people.
73. Don't have to worry about mad cow disease.
74. More than half of all water used in the U.S. goes to raising animals for food?
75. Human digestive tracts aren't designed for eating meat, our intestines are much longer than the average meat eating animal causing rotting of the meat in our systems.

79. Factory farmed animals are taken from their mothers at an early age and fed growth hormones so they will grow to unnatural sizes very quickly.
80. One person can make a difference because 1+1+1+1 adds up. Being Veg decreases the demand for “meat” in the marketplace.
81. The fish population is dwindling because fish are caught faster than they can replenish themselves. Fishing nets can span as much as 80 miles, and they kill animals such as birds, seals and dolphins that are in their way

That's hippie, , not hip-y! yuk yuk! 83. With so many humans on the planet, it's our responsibility to make less of an impact on the ecosystems. Fishing really does a number on the oceans, and the rest, well, we've covered already.

88. you won't ever find a bone in your food, or gristle, or a big chunk of fat
hahahahah!!! That is so true....nothing nastier than a big chunk of fat. Blech! 89. All your food can be prepared at the same time using the same cutting board & knife. This is not true if meat is involved. 90. You can also use the same utensil to move raw food from the board to the pan, to use when stirring in the pan, and to use when serving the food. The same is not true for meat, where you have to use different utensils for handling raw meat & cooked meat. 91. No complicated temperature testing to make sure the meat is done. 92. No sitting at the table w/ all the other food in front of you getting cold, while you wait for the turkey to finish cooking to the right temp (yep, this has happened to me). 93. No wondering "why am I still eating meat?" half-way thru your meal (I've been wondering lately...I might return to my vegetarian eating style I had in college...ok, it was "almost" vegetarian...I only ate chicken back then).

The shelf/freezer life of your food is longer than that of meat eaters. 99. don't know if this has been done: don't have to worry about the mercury levels in your fish. 100. if you're vegan you don't have to worry about rotten eggs. 101. you're pets are less fat cos they don't like your table scraps. lol YAY!!! we did it 101 reasons.
