I just started "Montessori: A Modern Approach" by Paula Polk Lillard. It gives the history of Dr. Maria Montessori and how she created her methods and then goes on to discuss how her methods are applied to a modern-day American school scenario. I literally just started reading it. I'll try to write a review of this book when I'm finished. Unfortunately, I've started about 5 books in the last 2 weeks and have finished any of them, lol!
