I Guess I'll Be HomeSchooling Jessie Next Year, Afterall

Though we still haven't heard back from the Montessori school on whether they've got a "spot" open for next fall, DH and I have realized that there is very little chance that Jessie will be ready to go to preschool by next August (just 5mos away!).  She is still not comfortable around other adults, still not comfortable in new places/situations (is very clingy), and is still not potty-trained (potty-training is a requirement at this school since it's not a daycare). We've decided to wait at least another year (she'll be almost 5) to go to preschool for a year.  Because of when her birthday is (Nov), she wouldn't start kindergarten until Aug of 2008 (she'll be almost 6)...so if need be, we could keep her at home until then. I guess we'll just wait until she gets older to make any other plans.
