Why do my organic baby carrots...

...taste and smell funny?

I can't really describe the smell... It's cerrtainly not a fresh, carroty smell though the carrots are *fine.* Maybe it's a smell from the bag? I don't get this smell/taste with non-organic baby carrots.

Hmmm.... Just curious if anyone has any insights.

That happens to mine sometimes too. They get a little bit slimy on the outside and don't taste terrific. I think it's because they're old. Organic produce doesn't move as fast.
