Charlie had her first memorable train trip yesterday. She was on a train when she was 6/7 months but that was a long time ago. Turns out she gets train sick. discovered this 15 minutes away from our destination when she projectile vomitted 500ml milk all over the carriage/car. poor thing was so ill, nothing i could do either, just hold her and let her puke, it was rather impressive. spent the day with my mum and dad and charlie met the cats again which she loved, tried to carry the smallest one around which was entertaining for all. After lunch we watched some hockey which Charlie got really into. if the spectators made noise, charlie copied. Charlie was entertained by some country bumpkin kids on the way home. they mostly talked about their cows. and c was sick again but it was a mangeable sick and she barely noticed. that was my day, gives me more motivation to get my license i think.
Hey I'm all for motivation, but driving with a sick kid in the backseat where you can't even reach her to comfort her would be no good either. I"m glad you're home and comfy now.
Kody met his first cat since he was seven months or so today.
We took a train out to California when Delaney was eight weeks old. It was so fun. I think there should be more train travel in America! I do with Addrienne about having the baby in the back and not being able to comfort them. I am goig to take my first road trip by myself with Delaney in two weeks. It will only be about 2 1/2 hours but I am a little nervous.
Delaney tries to carry around our cats. They weigh about 24-26 pounds each, so they weigh more than her, and they get totally limp. It pretty comical.
im so glad with allt he travelling ive done with maddox that he is such a go with the flow baby boy. as far as being sick in cars when i cant comfort him i have been on driving trips when he has come down sick and even though it has taken double even triple the length to get where we are going i always stop and be there for him no matter what.
he likes travelling alot, just gets bored on trains.
animals are his other favorite asswell (i think they all do) he has leant to say dog and cat this week.
