i just got my coles baby magazine (i usually cringe to read this ) and was happy today to see a article about positive reinforcement.

for obvious reasons i cant post the article (even thought it is short0 but it really isnt a bad read.

it emphasises teaching appropriate behaviour  by example creating a caring family environment  where adults and children are treated with mutual respect and that with every negative we have to give to keep the balance by providing 6 more positives.

it is against using labels such as naughty and encourages parents to actively seek out positive behaviour.

its nice to see in such a mainstream mag an article like this can pop up- gives me hope haha
