This is meant to be "preschool" in the traditional sense, not mother's day out, daycare, or regular school.

I voted for age 3, but have given serious consideration to starting Ben in Montessori at 2. He's in daycare full-time now anyway.

I'm not sure ds will be going to school at all.  Playgroups, sure.  We start Gymboree baby signs tomorrow... but preschool, I still have to think about.

I think i selected 'other' because i don't think there is a specific age that is best.  Charlie may go to a "play"group but not to a preschool to learn.  but thats probably because we're planning to do the teaching side ourselves. 

I think that when a child is ready for preschool is on an individual basis.

I am not sure about preschool either. We are going to see how things happen. Delaney loves to be around other kids, so I think she will enjoy playgroups, but since right now homeschooling is our plan I am not sure why she would need to go to preschool. We will see though. One thing I am learning from this whole parenting thing is to not make up my mind prematurely....
