Happy Mothers day!

Ok, can't remember if you in the north have mothers day on the same day but for Australia its today.  So my mothers day pressie is a shopping outing with Tristan.  This is a big thing for Tristan.  He does not like shopping.

Aw, that's sweet.  Kody got me a hand trowel and cultivating tool, plus a pair of sewing scissors.  My mom bought me a gargoyle.

Yea, we celebrate it the same day.  I hope everyone had a good one.

DH took the kids shopping on Saturday. They hand picked a beautiful arrangement of flowers (DH said Jessie spent a lot of time looking for just the right ones), cards from each of them, a small box of chocolates, and a neat picture frame that says "Mom makes fun happen" and has stick figure drawings of a mom doing things like driving a van, taking kids shopping, pushing a kid in a swing, etc which is all stuff we do together. The frame contains a picture of the kids and I together at the Children's Museum.   I spent the day hanging out w/ the kids, playing outside, and just relaxing. Oh, and DH also helped pick up and do dishes too.   Overall, it was a great day!

yes same day- fathers day is different though

we had a nice one- i got breakfast (not in bed the thought of eating in bed freaks me out haha)... then we had a picninc with friedns and tried our hands at geocaching in a town bnear us called local (Beautiful town).
