I've been meaning to pop in forever and touch base. How is everyone? Things have been crazy with us. Jared has given us a run for our money for sure - he has several food allergies, has a feeding delay and just had surgery last week to correct a severe tongue tie that no one ever recognized before. We have early intervention services starting next week to hopefully catch his oral motor skills up to what they should be to make feeding easier. But with all that, he is the sweetest little man ever - so snuggly. He'll be seven months next week! He isn't crawling yet but he wants to! He also wants to stand all the time. He smiles a lot and is generally very happy. Jocelyn is great as always. She can be such a nut some times! I can't believe how grown-up she seems! A couple of pics:

Great to hear from you.
I've got a few friends whose kids have multiple food allergies and it is definitely no fun. Jared certainly looks like a healthy and happy boy though.
Jocelyns so funny in that pic. she reminds me of Charlie. Hows her learning going? She's gifted right? Charlie it seems is gifted too. I was reluctant to label it but she's at a year 1 level with all her learning yet she's got 2 yrs till she techically starts yr 1.

hmm ballet. Charlie has got into her head that she's no god at it and that she's not winning so she gets grumpy at class. but she says she loves it. she is just lacking self esteem with it which is interesting. Asha and i were doing mummy and me class but she was so clingy she wouldn't leave my arms. So even though she's too young we trialled her in the 3yr old group and it suits her better. Though she isn't 3 yet so isn't great at following the moves. Will see how that goes, but its certainly better that having a clingy miss because mummy is there with her.
Jessica, from what you've said, i think many would class Jocelyn as gifted. There are a few web sites around about whether a kid is gifted and what that means.

Oh, Jess, for the longest time I thought you were my FaceBook friend because there's another Jessica whose last name I didn't know. Bunch of brainiac girls in this group, I tell you what!

"My beautiful, sweet angel" says her cheesy mama

Delaney went through that writing craze too. Interestingly enough, preschool seemed to have stopped it. Since she has been going to school she scribbles instead of drawing. "forgot" a bunch of numbers and doesn't write as much.
I am sorry you guys are going through so much with Jared! He is such a cutie! Is he big like Jocelyn?
Delaney is starting Irish Dance classes in May. She is excited. I won't tell her that Jocelyn will be doing horse back riding......She has been bugging us forever for lessons but we tell her she isn't old enough, lol.
