Megs - if I were to guess, then I would say Jocelyn is probably gifted but its hard to say for sure. She is doing well - lots of adding and subtracting (more and more of it in her head), she has a few sight words but has started sounding out words on a fairly regular basis so I suspect she'll be really reading within a couple of months. Her current obsession is writing. She is always asking for paper and wants to know how to spell everything so she can write. She is also so curious and is always asking questions. She's into a lot of things about space right now - stars, planets, meteors, etc. My neice is in K here (she's 6) and I would say that they are pretty much at the same level academically so yeah, she's about 2 years ahead or so.

I saw your post that the girls are doing ballet. How's it going? Jocelyn seems to have lost interest in it but I think we are going to do horseback riding lessons soon.
