KKNMM, 9/21/08:
There's a pile of candy wrappers on my desk and my weight continues to creep up.  I keep making excuses for not exercising.  So, nothing to journal, but need a thread to have nothing to write on so I can be more accountable for it. Smiley

Good going A,

moogie 22/09/08,
I did the Brisbane City Romp yesterday which is an amazing race style event in Brisbane.  It was powerwalking over 4hrs so i figure thats good.  I also did a body balance course and circuit at the gym.  that makes 3 sessions at the gym this week.  i think i've lost 1kg.  my diet is fairlu sucky at the moment.  i keep getting drawn to the thick white toast smothered in butter.

while riding bikes with lo I rode on the grass and used a really low gear while he rode on the pavement, lol.  not much, but it's something.


Hope, get your butt in gear.  you'll feel better.  you tend to work out a lot when you're working out.  when you start doing 30 min on the elliptical, I will, too.

9/23/08:
Ok, since the weather was nice yesterday and Emily didn't want to do our normal Tuesday activity, I took Emily and Zachary for a long walk in the sit-n'-stand stroller (has a little kids seat and big kids seat).  We walked for 1hr 10min...1hr of that was at a brisk pace w/ me pushing them and the other 10min was in the middle where I let them get out and walk around a bit.  I really did a bit too much...pushed both my physical limits and Zachary's limit to be in a stroller seat...but it was fun.  As far as my diet, I ate great the first half of the day, but not so great the second half of the day.

20min on the elliptical, level 8.

sore back from biking yesterday, I'll take that as a good sign. Smiley

weight myself and almost cried, lol.  but, we're doing something about it now, so it's just more progress I can be satisfied about.

9/24: didn't do anything other than cleaning. pooh!  But, I did stick to my diet for most of the day.

9/25: went to the park and walked the kids w/ a friend for about 30min and then played on the playground for for about an hr chasing the kids. So far, I've stuck to my diet, but we'll see how the rest of the day goes.

Promised a three year old we would fly kites when daddy came home. Then the wind died down so we spent 30 minutes running around trying to keep kites aloft. You can get them pretty high if you run fast enough!

23 min on the elliptical level 8.  No stretching, though.  I'll add that next time.

My knees are aching, I guess it's the weather.

I slept a lot last night and felt a migraine coming on today, but it didn't materialize, just a bad headache, but it definitely inspired me to stick to regular cardio.

9/27

27 minutes on the elliptical.  Was going to stop at 25, but we were watching Lazytown and the song "Playtime" came on just as I was about to cool down and inspired me on.  Maybe I should listen to music while I work out. 

Did 2 left-right leads of sun salutations and realized that my flexibility has left me in the months since I stopped doing regular yoga.  Was only going to do one set, but it hurt so good I went for a second.  got dog hair stuck all over my sweaty self ( Tongue )from doing the plank and cobra, I'll either vacuume first or bring a mat next time.

Feeling very fat after seeing myself do yoga.  Might even start a diet.

9/27:  DH and I chased 3 kids at the children's museum and later shopped for about an hr w/ 3 kids in tow at Target. So, not a sweaty exercise, but lots of movement today. OTOH, I didn't stick to my diet at all.
