10/26: stuck to diet but had to add in some calories b/c I was getting ligh-headed; didn't exercise due to feeling so poorly
10/27: stuck to diet; no exercise as I was running errands today

10/28 27 min elliptical + 2 rounds SS Snacked way too much, enjoyed a whole bar of chocolate
10/29 worked my ass off on the elliptical for 35+ and 2 rounds SS. Thanks to my iPod! Pretty OK on the food front.

10/28: 30min cardio; stuck to diet well
10/29: no exercise, but stuck to diet
10/30: Jessie had a half day today; I got everyone Wendy's for lunch...I indulged too. I also haven't excerised yet. Oops.

no exercise. terrible day "at work."
made Halloween cookies for k's class and ate one myself
10/31
31 min cardio, 2 rounds SS.
Ate lunch twice trying to fill my belly against the temptations of the afternoon, but still ate another cookie.

10/31: Volunteered in Jessie's class and took cupcakes...I indulged too. I also ate a bunch of halloween candy. I did feel like I walked a lot though...we walked a lot around our neighborhood and then even more around the mall.
11/1: Ate completely off diet, including more halloween candy. Spent about 3hrs shopping, though. So, "maybe" walked it off.
I hope to go back "on" my diet tomorrow. We'll see.

11/1 Ate TWO cookies, and other crap. Not feeling all that great now, I think I've learned my lesson. 30min elliptical, 2xSS
11/2 no exercise.
11/3 30 min elliptical, no yoga
11/4 30 min elliptical, no yoga yet
11/5 squeezed in just enough elliptical to break a sweat, still no yoga
My body is saying, "Oh, you thought you could get away with not stretching after your work out did you? Well, welcome to your thirties, honey." youch.

I've been sick w/ the stomach virus the last few days. So, no "dieting" or exercise for me. OTOH, I did manage to lose 5lbs in those few short days, so I"ve been on the "sick diet", lol.

lol, wasn't that in a movie? "One good stomach flu away from my best dress size" or something like that? I have to work out today, I just ate a half a pint of vanilla bean organic soy frozen yogurt while I was writing the post about gay marriage.  (I'm a slow typer when I've got ice cream in my hand, lol) Wednesday weigh in showed no backsliding despite all the Halloween cookies, btw.

That's great that you didn't gain weight over halloween! I had regained the few lbs I had lost the week before when I gave in to temptation on Halloween and the few days after. But, then, my body lost all that weight plus more w/ this darn stomach virus. I honestly would rather weigh more, cuz this virus sucks. DH has had it too and we both feel very crappy...ROFL!

that's the one, I googled it. 11/6 30 min elliptical, 2x SS 11/7 leisurely bike ride 11/8 32 min elliptical 2xSS 11/9 30 min elliptical 2xSS 11/10 no exercise 11/11 sick today, will try to refrain from working out. 11/12 32 min elliptical 2xSS I'm really feeling great, physically. Still not loosing weight, but I'm not concerned. It's a long time 'til swimsuit season. During the two days I took it easy, my whole back seized up and I had to admit that I'd been cranking the resistance on the elliptical too high. I just love the feeling of pushing as hard as I can. It's too much on my muscles, though, I have to be more careful. 11/13 sick 11/14 sick I only have a cold, and would have worked out (honest!) except that I just resolved to not push it too hard. So, here's hoping tomorrow I'm better. 11/15 sick, still. I was tempted to work out, but stuck to just 2xSS. On Sunday I think I"ll work out no matter what. Maybe it'll help me get better, and I'm not _that_ sick. 11/16 still a little under the weather, but couldn't resist, and had a hard time quitting once I started. 40 min elliptical, 3xSS 11/17 bike ride, nothing aerobic, but at least I got my body moving. Hope, I'm sorry about your stomach virus. That sounds just miserable. Nice joke though. I hope you all are feeling better by now.

Yes, you can!!
I am not dieting, still, because I don't diet well; I'll be going along fine and then K will come and stand on my feet and I'll go ballistic, or in the winter I start feeling cold all the time. I have, however, begun enforcing a rule on myself that I'm not allowed to decide that I'm hungry while standing in or walking through the kitchen. If I think I'm hungry while I'm in the kitchen, I have to go someplace else and see if the feeling persists.
Being sick has put a damper on my exercise habit, but I am getting back into it slowly.
11/18 24 min, no SS (interrupted)
11/19 30ish min, 2xSS Weigh in shows some gain, but I'm not changing my ticker... I'm in denial.

we're borrowing a wii fit from my bro so we'll see if that has any impact on my weight loss. i went back up to 66-67kg and only have 3kg to lose but boy that tummy fat is creeping on again. i look like i'm post baby.

I'm doing OK. I took a lot of days off to kick this cold that's still lingering, but I am getting back into the swing of working out. I've also been sewing and cooking, though, so time is an issue. I stopped posting because I felt like I was rubbing in the fact that my youngest kid is old enough to entertain himself, which isn't really fair. My mom and I are tracking workouts on the fridge now. I will absolutely come back and post here if you guys want after the holidays or whatever. I can report that I did not buy a pint of chocolate peanut butter swirl Purely Decadent the other day. I really really thought I wanted it, but when I looked deeper into my desire, it turns out I was thirsty.  I did however, just finish eating the dregs of a bag of corn chips and a tofutti cutie (bribery for getting K to come with me to the store for last minute T-day ingredients) for lunch. Hmmm. Oooh, let us know how the Wii goes!! I don't think I look "post baby" I think I look almost exactly like I did when I was 6 months along. At 6 months, I think I weighed exactly what I do now, maybe less, and carried it all low and in front.
