How is everyone?

I've been meaning to get on here for weeks to check on everyone!  I miss you guys!

Things are good here.  I'm officially in the 2nd trimester and things have been going smoothly.  We got to hear the heartbeat at the appt last week.

Jocelyn is still just amazing - she is so much fun and can be so funny and sweet and aggrivating and loving all at the same time!  I'm sure you all know what I mean.  She had her well-child visit and she is 39.5" and 37lbs.  Doc said she is the size of the average 4.5yo.  She is doing 48 peice jigsaws, knows her alphabet and sounds, has a couple of sight words, is doing basic addition and subtraction on her fingers with numbers less than 5 and has started doing a lot of ordering of things into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.  She also pretends NON-STOP! 

ETA: She's been showing a lot of interest in dance/movement lately so we are going tomorrow to sign her up for ballet classes through the township.  They have an 8-week class for 3-4 year olds that she is so excited about!

Potty training has gone well over all.  She's only had 1 pee accident in the last 3 weeks (and that was this past Friday when she was running a fever and generally out of sorts) but poop is only about 50/50.  I asked her ped and she said that poop control can take some additional time and that it should come sooner rather than later so we're waiting for that.

Wow, what a cutie! She knows a lot of school stuff already, too, I'm impressed.  I'm glad things are going well for you. 

We're good too.  I'm so in love with my little guy; I seriously think he must be the most compassionate, athletic, comic boy on the face of the earth.  I'm saying this becuase I know that you know that I know we all think that about our own kids, I'm not being a snoot.  He's also a pain in the rear at times demanding the most unreasonable things.  (booby in the car while I'm driving was a good one on the way home from gymnastics class)

I've been taking k to gymnastics or "little gym" programs on and off for a while now and he's just today had his first class with big kids and no mommies.  He did great.  I, on the other hand, had butterflies in my stomach.

I've been trying to give more attention to me as a person and my personal health and been making some progress.  My next big hurdle on that front is fitting in 90 minutes of yoga each day.  It sounds like a lot, but I remember from when I used to be diligent about it that I was so much more productive and energetic during the rest of the time it was worth it.  I have been brushing my hair daily and wiping the shower after each use, and simple though it sounds it makes a big difference in my outlook.
