hey everyone , well i havent been here in ages- we have just been so busy .
We are all settled in living here in Canada and have been here for a month now... its great
we are living in a community for university staff and students with families and its fantastic - im loving.
Maddox is doing great and loves it- we cant wait for the snow. I am struggling a bit with Maddox behaviour wise and my straw is a little shorter than id like it to be - so im working on that department- maybe ill post about that somewhere else).
At this point im hoping to start TTC december / January but i think DH will take a little more convincing- we are unsure of how our health insurance works here and i would like to be a bit more in the know before i get preg. All the same im hoping it will happen in the not to distant future... im big time clucky ...
does anynoe here have facebook (it drives me crazy with some of the stupid applications on tehre but what a great way to find old friends- meg there is a class of 98 group with HEAPS of old school people) - anyway i post lots of photos to my profile if anyone is on there.
Anyway i am off to take maddox to the lake to see the geese
haha its huge isnt it- we were remarking at the goose poo the other day ... i cant believe they are capable of making such large poo (although i think i used to say that about a wee baby).
Glad you got there safe and sound. From what i've heard also Canada is good on the health care. Is your partner working as an academic or doing anoth PhD?
thanks guys- DH (hey did i tell you guys we got married?- have i ben off line that long- weve been married 3 mths now)... is doing his second Post Doctorate now- he is also lecturing and all that stuff- its a great position he has a lot of freedom they are happy just to sit back and let him do what he wants.
As far as health care goes i am sure it will be easy if we can just find a family doctor that will take us- it can be difficult- and as Dh and i are on different health plans (he is OHIP (which is the state insurance) and i am on the UHP (univeristy insurance for people here under 3 yrs) some doctors wont Take UHIP as it is a slightly big more paperwork (although they get more money apparently).... anyway.... ive got my cycle tracked and hopefully we will start TTC in december either way.
