I am also an intellectual. What's up w/ all the pot questions? I've never really gotten the pot link. It's just sad that some people feel that they have to be "enhanced" to be "enlightened".

i guess its diffrent all over... all our friends who i would class as "hippe" although we rarely would use the term are pot smokers, but i think it is more of a lifestyle thing, they mostly live from cabarita to byron bay in QLD... have very laid back surfer lifestyles and smoking is part of that lifestyle. i agree though i dont think it is anyway to determine a hippie... lots of people living in the city and working very busy high profile jobs also smoke pot (amongst other things...i used to work in a needle exchange) more frequently than the more easy going.

this was cute! Was it the fact my 1st concert was the Dead in 8th grade? (they toured with 10,000 Maniacs) or the fact I'd rather smoke pot and have a snack vs getting drunk and passing out?
