How is everyone? Its been a while for many of us on here.
Asha is doing well, she is an absolute delight. A more patient child I've never known. She seems to know when i need quiet time, especially lately when i've had this horrid gastro bug. She had it too but was still very understanding.
She loves exploring the world, and is very chatty though i rarely understand what she has to say.
She has 7 teeth only poor thing wishes she had more to eat the food she loves.
We had a nasty gastro bug for a few days, i'd prefer labour to it honestly, but thankfully its almost over.
Oh and Asha is still around the 10kg mark. so about 22pound.
Asha especially loves her rocking horse at the moment. If she's bored she just jumps on there and rock away.
ok gotta go, but want to know how all the June bugs are?

Sorry, I got lost... literally, I forgot how to get to this site and lost the bookmark. Elisabeth is great (except for the fever and loose poop the last couple of days) She had 7 teeth, too for a while but the 8th is halfwy through, now. Also a lot to say and I'm amazed by how many real words! She still is learning some new signs, too. Her latest is "baby" for either her doll, her cousin, or pictures of babies. She's obsessed with belly buttons- hers, mine, strangers. She has to poke my BB before nursing. She also loves her book about body parts and me singing "head, shoulders, knees, and toes" She's been 23 lbs for about a week now, so long and getting thin. Just the right amount of pudge behind her knees, though. Hope it sticks around for another couple years. Let's see, I'll share a pic of Elisabeth's rocking horse and one of her "babies" She was on the horse then just reached into the doll pram for the baby.

Its amazing isn't it. sometimes Asha just rambles and rambles, sometimes i get what she says, mostly it sounds like gibberish. her latest favourite thing to say is 'Me'. Isn't that weird. She says it appropriately too. she says it when she wants something. Asha loves baby dolls too.

Wow, I feel like I haven't been here forever! So much has happened to us in the past 3 months, I don't even know where to start! First, I signed up for school and was taking courses online for medical assisting. It was going well, just keeping me very busy. Secondly, dh lost his job and went without for a month or so and we have been struggling and trying to catch up since. It has been a huge pita! He got a new job managing a pet store which is what he likes to do anyways, that is what he was doing when we met, i was the assistant manager He just got a huge raise yesterday and that will be great for us. I'm talking, double what he was making beofre. Not only that, he is being promoted to a different store to manage and he will get even more fo a raise once he takes that one, so it looks like our luck is finally going to change. After signing up for school, I finally (after a year of ttc) got pregnant. All was well. Went for an u/s at 6 weeks though because i was feeling very strange sharp pains and was concerned about ectopic, and had been extremely sick, much worse than regular morning sickness, and had been overly fatigued. Because I didn't have health insurance they wouldn't do bloodwork unless I could pay up front( remember, dh had no job at the time). So all I did was the u/s and the tech said everything looked great. I had applied to get public aid but the app never got processed and so, I never got to go back to the doc. Extreme illness and fatigue continue for 2 more months. Til finally, i go to the er one day thinking i'm getting the flu. The ultrasound showed twins( that explains the sickness and fatigue) but there was no heartbeats. There was a problem with the placenta, it stopped growing around 9-10 weeks. At 13w3d i had to have a d&c done. So that was last week. I dropped my classes right before we found out. Shane is doing great, learning tons each day, knows a lot of words and follows directions well. HE does the following: blink your eyes, wiggle your ears, stretch your arms, tickle your toes, poke your belly, blows a kiss, rubs your face when you say be nice, brush your hair, etc etc. He LOVES dancing and comes up with new moves daily. He isn't speaking much though, he says his own words for things though, that I recognize repetitively. He has 8 teeth and is working on 4 more (poor bub). We are still bf'ing but after the d&c i had to cut back a lot because of the medications etc. HE goes down at night with a bottle, but nurses during the day when he wants. We have joined a couple moms groups in the area and have found a church with a great children's program. I am doing okay emotionally and physically, it was really hard for me at first, but I have hope and peace. We are planning on ttc in December and are definately hoping for a second set of twins?? anyone know any ways to increase the chances naturally? I have heard of the african yams, maybe I'll give that a try
