1st bday

what have you guys done or are going to do for theijavascript:void(0);r first bday.  we're going to a park nearby and inviting the kids aunts, uncles and grandparents.  We're going to have carrot cake and hopfully not too many pressies.  We have got Asha a really cool doll called a schmerpi and some second hand wooden toys.  Its this weekend, and i am so not going to stress over it like i normally do.

since we just got here and dont know many people we are doing a small one. we have made some good firends so we are having a bbq pool party. they have a 1 yr old daughter and shane loves her. hope you guys have fun and post lots of pics!!

Happy Birthdays!
Isa's is this weekend, too- Sunday.  We're going to a big German dancing festival anyway- we go every other year- so she'll have her birthday with "2000 of her closest friends and family"  LOL.  We're taking a big tin of homemade "1" shaped cookies (thanks Oma!) to share with friends we'll invite to our room between events.  Next week is when hubby and I usually have a summer picnic so we'll have cake and stuff then, too.
Have to finish packing... we leave in a couple hours!
