It's like a support group - "Hi, I'm Mari and it's been 7 months since my last post." How pathetic is that? i just checked and it was June 21, 2007- just after Mohamed turned 1. Geez- they are such big kids now. I'm sad about that. Mohamed is, as you all know, 19 months old. He just started day care a few weeks ago because Zack's job told him he couldn't work from home anymore. We debated doing the one-income thing, but we just couldn't make ends meet that way. Anyway, he's becoming well-adjusted there and I love the facility and staff- it's a great center. We are still having the same feeding issues- he won't eat anything of nutritional value (do hershey kisses count?). All he wants is milk and crackers/gold fish. The doctor keeps pushing me to stop nursing him cold-turkey because he's only in the 5% according to the APA charts for weight. I need to check the WHO charts because I think they are based on breaastfed babies as opposed to the APA which bases off of average formula-fed babies (did I make that up or did I hear that somewhere?) Anyway, he's such a big boy now and doing all those big boy thigns like putting away his toys/clothes/putting on hisown hat and jacket. Not too many words yet (normal when there's multiple languages in the home, I think)... Anyway, I don't know how to put a piture here in the text part, so I attached them below. I hope everyone is doing well and those babies are getting big! Hopefully in another few months we'll be in a position to try for another one (no pun intended). But I still don't know that I could ever love another one as much I love Mohamed- The idea of having to share my attention makes me think it's not worth it. Anyway, I should get going- hopefully my next post won't be months away. Not that I was that active on the forum, but I always appreciated knowing my experiences were not unique and that doing things the way they were meant to be done is not just some fancy trend, but the right choice.
Edited: i had to take off one of the pictures- because they are too big. I have so many cute ones but the files are too big- anyone know how to make them smaller?

Great to see you back, yep everyone is busy these days. our June babies are like little kids now which is great. I wouldn't worry too much about his weight if he seems healthy enough. someone has to be on the lower end, doesn't mean its necessarily bad.

He's handsome! You're right about the growthcharts following formula babies. As long as he's growing and getting smarter I wouldn't worry too much. We go to Children's Healthcare behind Target on Cedar Crest and they are so great about breastfeeding. Of course, Elisabeth is a bigger kid but I'm confident that if she wasn't they would still support nursing. So what do you do for fun in the area now that it's cold? I've heard Chick-fil-et has a family fun night on Tues in the play area but what would I eat there? LOL. I've thought about Jungle Fun but haven't tried it yet. We walked around the Lehigh Mall once. It was something to do. We go to library story time on Tuesdays. I think the bookstores have them too but I don't know when. I just get stuck sometimes. I wanna go out and get Isa active but I hate spending money on it!
