I don't feel like a failure but i decided to not complete the challenge.  I was starting to get very oily pores through my hair which were turning into pimples, so i decided to not finish off the last two weeks.  I'm glad i did what i did though as i realised i don't need to wash my hair as much as i did and that i really probably shouldn't.  I love shampooing way too much, its a relaxation thing that is meditative in a way and i don't want to let go of it just yet.

i'm fascinated by this idea. i would love to try it, but i'm afraid of what it will look like! I have to look professional at work. how long does it really take to get over that "it looks like you haven't washed your hair" look?

sorry it took so long to respond to this, i didnt see it... my hair looked greasy from the end of the first week to the end of the second week, however i think it really dpepends on your own hair, and as\lso how often you wash it to begin with. i only washed my hair once a week before starting this. im not doing it now anymore, because i messed up and accidentally washed it one day and now i cant stop washing it.

megs- how is oit going for you? i want to stop again if i can... i made it to 3 weeks and my hair looked great

i'm torn on doing it or not doing it.  i was getting pimples in my scalp but my hair was healthier lookig, less fluffy.  i might try it again, but not right now.  for me i'm too addicted to washing.
